Anatomical AdaptationUnit Description:
Anatomical Adaptation is the process of 'getting ready to train'. Anatomical Adaptation focuses mainly on ensuring stability, mobility and general strength throughout the body. This will be our first unit and we will pretest for the California state fitness test during this unit. Unit Documents:

PickleballUnit Description:
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. Unit Documents:

BadmintonUnit Description:
Badminton is a racket sport and is one of the five major racket sports. The others are of course tennis, table tennis, squash, and racketball. Unlike the other racket sports badminton is purely volley sport in which the birdy is not allowed to fall land or on the floor before the opponent hits it. Unit Documents:

Lifetime FitnessUnit Description:
The students will work on improving overall fitness through activities that will help them build strength, endurance and flexibility. The student will develop an understanding of fitness concepts through cardiovascular and resistance training, Through this students will develop the skills and knowledge to develop and adopt a lifetime physical fitness plan. TchoukballUnit Description:
Tchoukball is a variation on Team Handball, it uses rebounders instead of goals allowing for fast paced gameplay utilizing a variety of locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative skills. Invented in the late 1960s, tchoukball is a team sport that unites athleticism, concentration, respect for oneself and the opposition and teamwork. Unit Documents:

Field GamesUnit Description:
The field games unit consists of spikeball which is a modified version of 2v2 volleyball created in 1989 and KanJam which is a flying disc game, played with a flying disc and two cans in which you deflect the disc. Unit Documents:

Volley-TennisUnit Description:
